Honestly Seeking

The truth is a book
But you have to read it
You can own a book, but if you never read it
You will never know what it is

You may guess at some of the truth
Others will have found a different path to part of the truth
No-one is actually wrong, they just cannot
Or will not, see all of it

Without it being whole,
It, very obviously, is not fully functional
You need to expand your knowledge of the truth
Read life like you would a book, take it all in.

Learn the language of life
Like any language you have to start with the abc's
Study yourself, your family, your neighbours
Your town, your country, your world, your universe

Try to understand why you react
To certain situations
And why other people respond differently
To the exact same thing

It will bring growth in compassion and understanding

Research through "hearing" people
The families, tribes, communities, countries
Religions and beliefs of the world
See what they can teach us about living in peace.

It will open and expand your heart

Read nature, grasp what our earth has offered us
What a gift we have received
To live on this planet
No cost except to care for it.

It will make you more grateful and respectful

Observe the stars and the universe
Shrink your ego with the wondrous vastness
That we, tiny specks of dust, live in

It will make you less competitive

As you learn the language of life
The truth will be revealed
"Seeking" the truth is the most honest search
You will ever put into action

"And the truth shall set you free"......

Thanks Joe.... freedom and peace, we will always have moments of both throughout our days. Sometimes only in our heads, but they still exist.
