Honest Love

I’m still here where the sun also rises
Is there anyone here without disguises?
As I get older, honesty becomes rare
People get ugly with nothing to share
I need to see a woman lit up like sunshine
Thoughtful and kind, showing life is divine
Caring about us more than making money
Liking my ideas and glad that I’m funny
Having no doubts that our love is so true
The world peering at us with a trusted view

Gosh, Andrew. I am the kind of woman you describe and so are my sisters and many of my friends. I think you are just going to the wrong places!! Anyway, I enjoyed your poem. Just wish you would meet women like the ones I know!!
