Honest Feelings of Friendship
This day of sunshine fills my eyes
As words on screen so fill my heart
As beauty can so paralyze
I witness love, which you impart
A private look to where you are
Returns a glance that I can see
Although so distant, just as a star
You remain so close, so close to me
For in my heart, there’s a light for you
It stays forever lit, each day
Do with it as you wish to do
But know it’s yours, this lighted ray
A friend you have and do eternal
A bond that’s formed from us, internal
