Homewrecker
I wish we could spend some time alone together
Get to know each other and fall in love
But I've got to hide my feelings so my wall is up
Because I'll never be a homewrecker
You're laying beside him as I write this
I just spilt some brandy on the page
The words are smudged but I like it
Because it's helping me out of this maze
You're kissing him as I sit alone
I daydream and wish it was me
I deleted your number so I won't pick up the phone
I'm writing this so hopefully my heart will be free
I shouldn't have fell in love with a girl who has a man
I know I've got to hide my feelings
Until my heart understands
I'll use this Fake smile to disguise my bleeding
I can't kiss you, but I wish I could
Sometimes we have to take a risk for love
As much as I'd love for us to spend time alone together
I've got to ignore my feelings because I won't be a homewrecker
