Homeless Quarantine

while you're all rediscovering yourselves
getting creative in the realms of denial
ignoring your duties as humans, men, souls, consciousnesses
surrendering your rights for some momentarily safety bites

there are silent cries
riding rockets to them skies
you got it all wrong
HE won't interfere
it's our test
He'll just pat on their hearts and wipe fear
angels whispering patience to them innocent ears

you will never know how we see you
we're out jailed in your fear and stupidity
we see peeking behind your weeping windows
we're thankful and grateful
poor pockets rich hearts
eying
hi tech and low lives
no wonder
you surrendered your own
wouldn't you sell out mine
welcome to the 21st century human pantomime

too open to be a conspiracy
too evident to be a theory
you chose blindness
and blind you'll be resurrected
from your purpose and humanity you defected

tough times missing tough men
