Homecoming Day

Why do I have to suffer as I travel along life's way. It seems that I have to struggle each and every day, But I'm told in God's Word, to always watch and pray, For it won't be very much longer, and it will be homecoming day. Someday My trials will be over, when I reach Heaven so grand. I'll walk down the streets of gold, safe in my Saviors hand. He'll show me my beautiful mansion, where there never comes a night. For in that Heavenly city, Jesus is the Light. Jesus is the best thing, that ever happened to me. Someday I'll see Him in glory, What a homecoming day that will be. By Charles E.
