Home Movies

Family movies –
Bore, bore, bore!
Haven’t I seen
This program before?

Voices babbling,
Musical tunes,
No one listening,
Birthday balloons!

Presents unwrapping,
There’s Uncle Joe.
No, it’s his brother!
And there’s little Flo!

The baby’s so cute –
She’s got a new tooth.
There’s this one and that one –
Enough now, forsooth!!

We lived it, enjoyed it,
And had a great time.
But hours of it over
And over’s a crime!

%Thanks so much. I thought that some people think this way, but others think the way it's picture in Home Movies II. I think it depends on how LONG the home movies are! I really appreciate you succinct comment.

I agree. In fact, long ago I stopped taking the movies and making the slides or special occasions and even vacations. I think I'm enjoying these experiences and adventure much more.

I actually wrote a second one showing the other side of the coin. Something to be said for both! Thanks again.
