Home

It has been a long summer
Days have passed and ones begun
And now, today, in your arms
At last, when leaves have fallen,
Standing at the station.
Waiting while moments pass.
With your arrival, begins the day.
Our eyes meet, then our lips.
I am home at last.

Beautifully written, The greatest feeling of being in love is recognizing that when that person is gone, you have this emptiness inside until you see them again and at last, you are HOME.
