Home
I went out with some friends and left my man home alone
Why did I go out why did I pick up that phone
You have one person teasing you, you on a lock down
And this is the same one who can't keep a man around
Then you have the one who does nothing but keep drinking
And I say to myself what in the world is she thinking
Then you have the loud one always ready to pick a fight
I hate the I told you so but I should have stayed home tonight
You never have a good time but yet it never seems to amaze me
Once everybody gets drunk everything starts to get real crazy
I need to get out sometimes
I could of been at home with my man having whip cream and cherries
Instead I'm out with these girls not knowing for sure where I'm going to be
I'm not a kid anymore I have to make choices of my own
But no matter what I choose I will always know
THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME
