Love,
In a society that has always seen love as reckless and impulsive
I have tasted a different dish,
a side that is usually not explored
With sweet touches and sweeter words
Cautious of the effect they have,
With distance so less and yet so more
Miles have to be yet travelled on this road
With gestures that speak more than one can
Beating heart is all I can hear
And his voice
With smooth edges of smiles he cannot hide
And a smirk tracing the tease in the comment
Of eyes that touch the deepest parts of me
Hidden not by clothes but by skin
Of the warmth that spreads within
I have glazed at the bump in his check
With the desire to see his face dipped in smile before pleasure
The love that is careful beyond measure
Because it knows it is the stick of support to stand
And the curves of lives at each end point
A surprise wrapped with faith in all
That has to the ability
To make someone happy
To make someone sad
I have seen love being handled
Like a child in the womb of mother
A bubble made for comfort and growth
Without pain and grief
And it a pleasant way of seeing it
which is criticized so much for the rush it gives.
Love like that warm comfortable home
carrying a tried sad soul.
