We still do this....we have an old fashioned ice cream maker up at the cabin place...and it's a summertime memory we are making for our grandchildren...Nothing tastes better on a hot day!! Yum!! Love, Carrie

You sure brought back some great memories, Barbara. We made ice cream in chemistry class. Not only did we have fun, but we enjoyed hot fudge sundaes! And yes, it was a warm day so the cool treat was quite welcome by all. Love, Carolyn

I remember the homemade icecream also..But was usually in the afernoon not night..Great write with memory that should do well in the contest if an entry..Keep the creative pen flowing. Sara
