Holy Unity

When seeking visions of divinity
Upon my knees in silence I am found
In the solace of holy unity
I pray, yet ne’er do I utter a sound.
I open my heart to her words profound
As in silence I walk on hallowed ground
I sit beside her neath the open sky
We talk of all the how, when, where and why
Then in silence she will whisper goodbye
The time has come to leave; return to life
I feel, I do not need to weep or cry
But strong enough to face my earthly strife
I feel her presence ever by my side
In silence her love cannot be denied
