Holy Child

on to you a savior was born this night
the shepherds heard the angels come to say
this star so bright will be your guiding light
go see the king atop the manger's hay

swaddled in cloth of ivory he lays

follow the light to go offer your praise

journey to the manger over the steeps

it is there the holy child softly sleeps
