Hollow Room

You can rely on your friends
I'm alone more than most
Treat the days like sedatives
I've had an overdose
Sickening pessimists
Go out of their ways
Fill the halls outside the door
They'll never take my pain

The writing on the walls reads salvation
But it's written in my blood
My existance is for your amusement
Veins. Coarse. With. Mud.

The cracks of light
Don't deny
Anything
That isn't mine

The only thing I've learned from this
Is disillusion is sick
As far as misery goes
I take the time to forget
The damage was done
The reaction was slow
You lost track of time
And I dissolved in your throat

Time has passed and at last
I accept I'm a masochist
Life is love, life is pain
Loving. life. is. all. there is.
(For me)

The cracks of light
Don't deny
Anything
That isn't mine
