Holiday's Thoughts

Winter snow falling forming a soft white blanket on the ground
Cool crisp air blowing from the canyon creating an eerie sound
Lying in yet untouched blanket of white making angels in the fallen snow
Making the biggest snow man on the block just for show
Waiting for Christmas lights to spill their brilliant color all around
In the distance sweet music seems to be rising heaven bound
Cinnamon, chocolate and pine permeating the air
Enveloping senses drawing thoughts to goodies everywhere
Wonders abound everywhere filling the souls of the masses
Anticipation growing with each minute that passes
Its holiday time a wondrous time of year
Time to celebrate with those we hold so dear
