Holiday Blues

I have the holiday blues,
Where you miss your relatives and friends.

Walks outside during the summer.
Now and then you might meet a friend.

Can't wait till the normal days are here,
Where you have your routines that you could rely on.

I miss my friend, my handsome prince,
He's at home and I am out and about.

I have come to love him as a dear friend,
Never thought that I would meet someone so endearing.

We live in separate palaces,
He comes to vsit during the week.

He brings sunshine to my life,
When he is away that's a rainy day.

I look forward to seeing him again,
I pray that god continues to hold our friendship in the palm of his hands.
