Holding On
holding on, with a long tight string
holding on, as if we are connected
holding on, trying to pull me closer
holding on, starting to smother me
holding on, to what you think i am
holding on, to an impossible dream
holding on, saying you love me
holding on, but never knowing me
holding on, please stop
i can hold you out.
