Holding Hands With Eva

So walking we went, just a walk Oh, a touch, shiver, tingle, warmth A soft hand slides into mine We look and smile, need no words A new step in this found love More little trusts, acceptance I gently press, feel a response My heart skips, sings, warms me I know what I feel, deepening love I smile, feel it, strange sense, new But so welcome, so safe So we sit, drink coffee, talk, smile Glances come to us as we laugh I wonder what they think We walk back, fingers brushing Then a soft hand slides into mine We look and smile Who needs words 2021
