Holding a Posture of Humility - Proverbs 11: 2

Great effects came about at the fall
There man fell a very great depth
far more than we like to really admit
no matter the times you rise, man hits a wall

The real need of the hour
humility, really just being humble
realise you're not what you think
learn well not to moan and grumble

The world's bigger than you think
far larger than your imagination at all
even God is bigger than in your view
which is tiny compared to God so true

Remind yourself again you're not God
God is God and only He's the Lord alone
all peoples are made in His image even you
sinners saved by grace describes all to atone

Be humble and learn to be wise
these two ingredients go hand in hand
God blesses them when the two meet
showing it's all sovereignly planned

Holding a posture of humility
so godly showing HIs true mark
filled by His holy spirit in His fullness
shining forth His light putting out the dark

("When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with the humble is wisdom." - Proverbs 11: 2 (ESV)

(' Be humble, the world is bigger than your view of the world and certainly, God is much bigger than your view of God' - Eugene Cho )

We are but grains of sand on a giant beach Gordon, we should remind ourselves of that often. Love the quotes with your verse. Still greetings from Turkey. Tom
