Hold That Thought
Your words they fit me like a velvet glove..
Holding every thought and feeling my emotions..
You caress away my heartaches a lullaby on heart strings..
Catching all my falling tears when trickling down my face..
You ask me if I'm happy and nestle into me..
I treasure all our moments you are my beating heart..
You're love will guide me through the darker days that surely lay ahead..
You nurse my apprehensions and soothe my fragile doubt's..
When laying close together your hands embrace my soul..
Your finger's are the artist that moulds my constant dreams..
And waking up each morning you're the light that starts my day.
Then you wrap your arms around me and I feel that special warmth..
You ask me if I'm happy, well I'm the lucky one...
