Hold On
You know I can't understand you persistance.
Your inner strength I couldn't put into words to explain.
Over and over how I've told you I'm broken.
There's no quick fix for ths open vein.
Yet here you are standing before me.
In your heart and eyes I can see you have no doubt.
I must apologize now for I know i'll be cynical.
So many things inside me I fear you won't figure out.
Yet I can't believe how you can hold on.
With never a thought to let go.
I can't understand how you are so strong.
Like there's something in me I don't know.
I look at how you can show no fear.
Like there's something in me I don't see.
You try and make everything so clear.
Everytime that you say you love me.
Oh how I love the way you hold on.
Your words are reassuring in times where I try to hide my pain.
Your touch it calms and soothes me, when i feel I've gone insane.
The pieces you have put back together when I couldn't figure things out.
I was wrong when I said you couldn't, I was wrong to have so much doubt.
All the pieces back together, look how your persistance has now held true.
I see all the love in your heart, as mine has been fixed by you.
