Hold Me

Hold me now, we can fight later Gripping onto your embrace Never missing a beat of your heart crying out to be cared for Cold summers, hot winters Sunny days turning into rain storms Everything equals the opposite now Never showed you cared But as I lay your heart races Little do you know My heart breaks every time the distance between us increases Head To Heart, Hand In Hand, Skin To Skin To feel you Close is the feeling of winning Don’t let me slip away But if I shall I shall slip into a dark place When your gone I feel cold and empty So hold me Until the morning come Then you shall go And I’ll give up a fight I knew I wouldn’t win You make tides and rainfalls mix and flood And my eyes give up its pride But I always told you I would be along to ride I can no longer fight though I only crave your love and affection Why can’t we just make amends? I just want you to hold me!
