Hold Fast to Your Integrity

Job lost his friends, his family, his fortune, and gain,
Loss upon loss, through sorrow and pain.
Yet blameless and upright, he refused to depart,
He held fast to God with an unwavering heart.
Satan said, “Take his blessings; let his faith be tried,”
But Job kept on trusting with God by his side.
Though heaven seemed silent and answers were slow,
He worshiped his God through the ebb and the flow.
His earthly wealth faded, but his faith shone bright;
His spiritual treasure surpassed earthly might.
When darkness surrounded him, he still chose to stand—
Holding fast to his integrity by God’s mighty hand.

God is seeking true worshippers, faithful and true,
Who will stand when the storm and the trials break through.
Men and women of honor, whose word can be trusted,
Whose hearts remain faithful when all has been dusted.
Though the heavens may shake and the mountains may fall,
We will cling to our Jesus, our Savior through all.
We will not be purchased, persuaded, or sold;
Our faith will burn brightly, our hearts will be bold.
“Wait on the Lord”—He will strengthen the weak;
His voice may be silent, but still He will speak.
We’re nearing the close; Jesus soon will appear—
So hold fast to your integrity, faithful and dear.
Stand firm, keep believing, let Jesus be praised;
Hold fast to your integrity—your faith shall be raised!

A stirring affirmation of faith and steadfastness. Job’s example is woven into an encouraging call to remain true, trusting, and spiritually strong through every trial.
