Hodge Podge Three

There's a real old famous saying, which has me wondering, just a bit! "If all the world's a stage", where does the audience sit? One thing to me's a misnomer, and I ain't fooling round! Swimming, ain't no sport, my friend, it's what you do, so you don't drown! Somethings been confusing me! It's messing up my head! My wife says I don't listen, at least, I think that's what she said! "Let a smile be your umbrella", so goes an old refrain. But, if that's your choice, I guarantee, you'll get a face full of rain! Here's a point to ponder! I wonder if it's true? Infants can enjoy their, infancy, just like adults who enjoy their adultry, do! Here's a very startling fact, about a very unique situation. There's a very old Country, where all autos are red! You could call it "A Red Carnation"!

Good grief, Ralph, you had me rolling as I read this. I always did wonder how a smile could protect us from the rain and I love the verse about infancy and adultery. The last verse takes the prize though. Indeed: A Red Car Nation. LOL Where do you get these ideas. So nice to ssee you active again, my friend. Love, carolyn

And here’s another thing to think: Writing poems keeps you young - Well, that’s something to bear in mind, - - - Though keep it cheek in tongue.
