History's Mysteries
Born from The Night
Shrouded in mystery
She's just out of sight
This creature called History
We'll all eager to know
And there's never a lack
Of pure suppositions
Assumptions, false facts
We consult, one another
Sharing rumors and lies
While burying the truth
Beyond prying eyes
She remains an enigma
For it's, her stock and trade
She'll supply subtle hints
While our thoughts are betrayed
We may never know rightly
What the truth, may have been
So, we'll have to surrender
"Cause She'll never give in
