I wanted us to be a part of
each other's lives,
friendship with expectations
of something more…
You're the one who were never ready
you're the one that needed time,
time was giving
but I never said indefinite…
If you really knew me
like you claim,
you'd know that’s not
the way I operate…
I have needs,
I have aspirations
relationships needs to be nurtured,
Indecision doesn’t feature
on my agenda
you've chosen
to throw down the gauntlet
I chose to call your bluff
I chose my path
I’m moving on
no tears, no remorse
happy for the times shared
and the memories made
friends till the end…
