Hiss, Hiss, Hiss
A songbird serenaded trilling so sweet.
It resonated thru my soul.
I pulsed to the beat.
Sitting by the pond a frog greeted me.
I croaked back at him serendipitously.
I came across a dog whose tail was wagging.
I bent over to greet him, my body gently sagging.
I discovered a snake concealed in the mist.
I stood quietly in place and let him hiss, hiss, hiss..
