Brenda Chiri Poet Free verse

His Words

A whisper from full lips carried 
on his soft breath came..
"Indeed ...M'Lady...?" 
Once those words reached me 
My pulse quickened and my 
breath became shaky..... 

response escaped my lips as 
shaky as my breath to dance with 
his playfully for a second before 
drifting off to him 
"Indeed...Kind Sir..?" 

Does he know with those 
whispered words what he 
returned to me? 
What I thought in a deep sleep? 
Yet maybe it was.... 

How did he breathe into me 
awakening my essence? 
As if he shocked me 
back where I  could feel the
" Thump Thump" of life again 

My whole body was overcome 
with a rushing of my life force  
From my head to my toe where 
my face was flushed from a heat 
.. almost giggling like 
a school girl... 

Does he know what his words 
carried on his soft breath 
breathed into me? 
Did I affect him in any such way 
when my words drifted to him?..... 

"Yes indeed Kind Sir..!"
I whispered to myself 
as i smiled wondering.....
