His Welcome
I saw him yet again today.
When silence is overpowering,
when the emptiness is overwhelming,
when everyone's busy leaving me out,
that's when his presence is caught.
He stared at me blankly
as I pull myself towards the
heavy gravity of desperation.
As I fabricate my acceptance,
as I sail along their boat,
unfortunately,
the heavier it is to pull back.
And upon the defeat with
the throes of horror,
the tears blurred my vision.
That's when I saw him
walked our distance.
And that's how his
darkness filled my
soul and comfort.
