Notes About The Poem

This Was A Poem I  Wrote Years Ago...My Friend Took Her Own Life, On Her Wedding Day. Her Friends, Fiance And Family Suffered So. ~Vickie Thayer~

His Wedding Day

Please My Love...haunt me down,

Tied Up In Your Bridal Gown...bring me your presence,

Walk This Earth...bring me pleasance,

Haunt Me Down...untie my mourning,

Lay Me Down With You...to the angels I'm imploring,

Haunt Me Down...before a new day,

Our Bed Covered In Crimson...where I shall forever lay,

Bring Me Your Hand...diamonds and gold embellished in red,

Kiss My Lips...on this the day, we were to be wed,

Haunt Me Down My Love...please, just haunt me down,

I Forgive You...now I ask the same of thee,

The weapon to my lips...my liquor is agreeing with me,

I Will Not Walk Alone...I'll drink in all of you,

Farewell As We Taste Our Poison...lovers very last adieu!

                              ~Vickie Thayer~
