His Spirit

I fall down amazed at His throne Upon my knees, praising in song Knowing that He hears my every groan And listens when I pray for so long His omnipresence leads my heart With a joy of knowing He is alive Filling the moments with a new start And showing me how faith will thrive I rest in the Lord’s eternal promises Justified by His wondrous mercy and grace Astonished by His word’s flawlessness And, looking forward to seeing His face His omnipotence assures my spirit With knowledge that He is all powerful Knowing His love has no reason to fear it Awakening rainbows of hope so colorful I yearn to hear His voice whispering to me Of so many wisdoms I can somehow believe He fulfills my greatest longing so that I agree With Him by my side, dreams I will achieve His omniscience shows me the way to live With a sense of His peace faithfully there within Teaching me about the ways that I must forgive Everyone that has hurt me from anywhere I’ve been I will wait upon the Lord to know the answers When I am uncertain, I will simply go to Him and ask If I need to know the truth, I won’t take any chances With Him, I can be sure it’s the right way, whatever the task His spirit stays with me, leading me through my days Whispering reassurance when the darkest nights come Throughout my life, I intend to give Him all my praise For I know, with Him, to sins and errors I won’t succumb
