His Scheme

All I wanted was his arms around me, All he wanted was to put his hands down my pants. And so I let him, My mind surrendered to my foolish heart, Knowing better than to get caught up, In his childish boy scheme. And everyone told me what he was about. Told me to close that chapter quickly, Instead I continued to turn the pages, And he told me not to be afraid, And I hung to every word he said. Clinging to them as if they were my last lifeline, After all I had given up my social life to attend to his every need, Never knowing the other side of the game, Never knowing the cost. Now I sit here with a broken heart, And a baby girl, who may never know her father, Yet I know she is her father's child, She has his eyes. I've called him and another girl picked up his phone. Claiming he had moved on and I told her that's fine, But I want you to know he has a daughther, And as I hung up the phone, Unsatisfied with the results, I prayed that she doesn't fall For his "come to the rescue, wanna-be hero, lying dog" scheme *Very fictional*
