His Sacerfice
He suffered the wrath
laying his life on the line
as he accepted our mistakes one more time.
Every one stood staring at him
as they drove nails into his skin.
Never saying a word,
as he died there on those boards.
Wouldn't he be proud of all
the people who are thankful now?
