Notes About The Poem

Another great lesson we, as believers in Jesus Christ have to learn is,
that the Lord gets quiet now and then.  I believe that in that time, we
need to just seek HIM for WHO HE IS!  Not be asking HIM for things
and blessings but, the blessing of HIS presence is enough.
God bless.

His Quiet Times

His Quiet Times

With these feet of clay oh, Glorious One
I follow where Thou dost lead,
humbly and gratefully I acknowledge Your voice
wherever Thou dost beckon me.

At times, Your voice seems still
and in the quiet I await Your call,
then when You speak my name so sweetly, Lord
on my knees before You I must fall.

In interludes of quietness
I question my walk before You,
fearing I must have missed Your call and
wondering have I grieved You?

Then at my lowest point
when no more I could go on,
You appear as if from no where
but You were here all along – You “were” here.

Though You never change, Lord
Your dealing with me does,
and as I climb higher to new levels in You
I have come to find Your Greater Love.
