His Love Letter

she takes a page of crisp white paper, Colors it with tea bags to make it more precious and aged, Breaks the edges to make them jaggered and perfectly imperfect, Takes a finger full of blood red paint And draws a heart right in the centre of the page, She notices how the edges are thick and how the middle is thin. Thats how most heart would look she decides,  Thick outer layer for protection, and once inside..Make sure you don't tear it! Dips her finger back into the paint and paints her lips with another thick layer, she leans down and kisses the middle of the heart leaving an imprint of her lips to make it stronger. She smiles and places the paper on his door, wipes the paint off her lips as she walks quietly away,Wondering, "what if......."
