His Love

How do I show off that I love you?
For the innumerable things you have done
Compels me to love you too

From a distant land you brought me
So weary and tired and almost defeated
No strength, no hope, no peace
But all, you restored
Held me by the hand
Supported my weak frame
Spoke to me as a friend would
Listened carefully to my story
And shed a tear as my story rolled

Your love could not be separated
So consuming and overwhelming
All I have held too myself
You lent a helping hand
For you know how heavy they weigh
And would not stand me carry it myself

I will tell all how much I love you
How my heart is sold out
Bought over by my only lover
The one who gave all to eternally have me
