High Rise
Wandering past bungalows
Sneaking through high covenant areas
Setting servants and dogs barking.
I go home
Desperation crawls in to the heartlands
As dawn crawls in.
Bastards!
They’ve built towers
Everywhere.
Down below I will build a house no bigger than myself
There will be no roof and no walls
I’ll step out into the darkness
If you are nearby one day pay me a visit
And please, plant me a sunflower
For a little glow.
