High On the Butterfly

Maybe you’re going to die too soon
Or maybe you might go insane
Life can throw you a typhoon
and no one is driving this train

Wanted to leave a good footprint
Maybe you’ll just leave a stain
Feel like you'll float like a butterfly
Or maybe you’re just in pain

It might get you off with a light touch
Or you might need a big hard push
To get into the sky like a butterfly
And maybe you’ll get a good rush

Looking for the pie in the big sky
Maybe you took too much
Falling from a ride down a big slide
So maybe you’re a little out of touch

Maybe if you tried to go too soon
It is harder the longer you wait
Bet your going to try, I see it in your eye
How nervous you are when your late
