High On My Sweetie Pie

When the day seems, to linger,
from time spent, on what to do.
I can't help but be smiling, for there's,
someone who gets, me through.

No need for artificial stimulation,
to help me cope, or to keep me high.
All I need to keep me going, are the,
beautiful thoughts, of my sweetie pie.

With every thought, my heart, skips a beat,
and my face, becomes a glow.
I can't help, but feel this way,
for I truly, do love, her so.

For she, is my all and all,
I become steady, for she, is my rock.
Because of her, I can, do anything,
while out here, working, around the clock.

And when I do, see her in person, there be tears,
of joy, from the happy tears, I have cried.
Knowing full well, how blessed, I was,
to have, her there, always, by my side.
