High Noon Stumpy

There was an old cowboy named Stumpy
Who's laugh sounded just like a donkey
He smelled like a skunk
High noon he'd get drunk
And then with the ladies got frisky

I imagine that I enjoyed this limerick a lot more than the ladies enjoyed 'Stumpy!' lol. Cheers, Anne!

Thanks Gershon. It's not one of my better poems as I've never written a limerick before but I tried. Glad it brought you a chuckle. Cheers my friend:-)

He may have been wiser to have faced the outlaw in main street. Love your limerick.

Lol :-D Your right there Harry. He wouldn't have needed a gun to make the outlaw run. Thank you Harry. I'm glad you stopped by to read it. Cheers my friend :-)

Thanks Deb and Lol :-D at stinking Stumpy. No doubt many saloon girls had to put up with drunk, smelly cowboys back in those day. Cheers my friend :-)

Lol. I would imagine back then, a lot of cowboys became nose blind to each other. This was my first time writing a limerick so it was a challenge, but being a fan of Western movies, this contest inspired me. Thank you Tom for your good luck wishes. Cheers Anne :-)
