High Five Part 2

I am now in a predicament. As I stand here watching
my boss with her hand in the air waiting, just waiting
for a high five. I think quickly, I tell her I am getting
A cold and I don’t want to spread any germs. I walk
out of the conference room and I honestly feel like skipping
to my office. No high five for her!! The next morning
I get to work with every intention of milking this
“cold” for as long as possible. I check my email
and my boss has the nerve to write that I should
stay home until I am over my cold, to prevent anyone
else from getting sick. I know good and damn well this is
retaliation for not giving her a high five. I plan on going
to her office to give her a piece of my mind. I get there
and she is in tears. Her assistant says she was just fired for
reasons she doesn’t know yet. Her boss walks out her office
I immediately raise my hand to give him a high five.
