High Five

Walked by a man
He put out his fist
I walked by
That was rude
I heard him say
Ah a fist bump
How quaint
These kids
So young
So sure
Think everyone
Is just like them
Fist bumps
High fives
Secret handshakes
Of the young
Those my age
Did it differently
Peace
Free love
Long ago
We were young
Don’t know these sign
Of today

It is amazing how fast each generation creates their own little "ways" unknown to the generations above and below.
