Hiding You

Hiding You

Why do I have to hide you in the shadows?
Why can’t I tell everyone about you?
Why can’t I tell them how good you are to me?
How much you love me, and how much I love you.
How you opened up my heart to a new love and a new
beginning to life.
I don’t understand why they judge me?
To be happy is all I ask for, to be with you.
Why do I have to hide you like I am ashamed of you?
Why is your family happy for us?
Why not mine?
Should I say, forget it all, or should I love you with everything in me.
Should I be happy no matter what?
Should I follow my heart for the first time and not worry about being judged or anything else?
In the shadows you are waiting.
