Hide

Hiding away, losing the day.
Saying goodbye, scared to say why.
Why are we hiding ourselves away?
I don’t want to fake it,
I want you to believe what I say.
The traffic in my brain is driving me insane,
sometimes more than I can take.
You tell me you love me,
then through your heart in reverse.
Someday, when we find the place,
the place where love takes over hate.
I wish I could say,
that my heart won’t crumble,
when we say goodbye.
I pray the day never comes,
And love saves us from hiding away
