Hide
What must you do to walk with pride?
Go tie up truth, then try to guide
yourself through life that's already died.
And don't regret the price you've paid,
the wretched rock with which you made
the idols to yourself - you prayed -
And answered your plea for a place to be,
that provided you meaning and set you free
from the horrors of questions, eternally.
Submit to the fate for which you pined,
the glorious illusion you designed.
Don't cry to the heavens when you find -
The stars were too cold to confide,
and you saw the void deep down inside.
So to laugh once again, you chose to hide.
