Hidden Tears

A fake smile
shown outside,
A charade I can
no longer hide,

Seeing laughter,
But not felt,
Holding on as
I begin to melt,

Reaching out
with every stride,
 Hidden tears
each day I cried,

The edge I stand
won’t hold I fear,
Looking down
seems so near.
