Hidden Soul

Hidden Soul

I am a forever more, so deep I stay.
I'm imperishable, quiet at the heart of form.
I fear what is no more to be feared.
I'm unseen and can rise with the wind.
When my body is strip of my worn clothes
and pierce to the depths of the heart,
reality remains, I am a forever more.
I'm man's greatest wealth drench in blood
                               but can't be wet.
                                             I'm the hidden soul.

Very well expressed Jay. We truly are so much more than we seem. We know and feel the hidden soul within us. This is a beautiful write. Love, Shar

Good Morning Jay, this is a marvelous personification of the soul, its strengths and weaknesses that are felt by man in form of spirit... Although it may be tread upon from time to time most assuredly its essence shall rise. I have enjoyed the emotions, imagery and flow of this read my friend :-) I thank you so very much for sharing such a fine write and for your lovely comments on my poetry. God's Love and Many Blessings, Always, Adell

This is a very interesting poem. I like how it flows and the essence of the piece. The soul is always capable of bouncing back in life. There is that hidden quality man is unable to see. I like the philosophy behind this poem. Great job! ~Joseph
