Hidden Joy

I stay in the dark, far away from eyes Who will see what they like not Who cannot wish me well Because on the past they dwell Like a hoarder who hoards anger from memories of the past Of a situation that did not last I stay away from pictures and public posts Away from an opportunity to boast About the one I love the most My favourite person who is a gift Imperfectly perfect and is all that I have wished For And much more I avoid an opportunity for ill wishes I keep what's mine hidden from envious onlookers That way I am filled with simple riches Prayer, spirituality, happiness and love I am rich with all of these above I give a big smile from ear to ear While looking at the One who is dear To me... And we hold hands through our journey on earth Enjoying it to the fullest for all that it is worth

Wardah, There is far more hunger for love and appreciation in the world today than there is hunger for bread.
