Hidden Anger

My contempt for anger always shows
Unaware it breeds in my own veins--
How to be better, my heart follows
A pathway of kindness this like follows

Hello Franco. Thanks for your participation in this contest! For me, the first two lines start off good, but then when I reach the third and fourth lines I get slightly confused. What do you mean by "this like follows" at the end? It's an interesting idea to be angry at anger, but I get a bit lost in the middle. Hope this helps. Keep writing, my friend.
