Hidden

Behind your fake smile
There is hidden
A wall of silence and denial
That blocks the hurt
Which you feel is forbidden
If those walls break
Your secrets will be seen
Open to the world
You won't know how to feel
Should you feel shame
Or would you be proud
If everyone sees what is real
How will they act
You've been Hidden for so long
You really don't know
Even you forgot yourself
Who you hid so long ago

A subtle sense of depression accompanied by a ting of apprehension seeps into your words and gives a downward spiral to your thoughts. Emile. #7

Excellent pen Matt! I really enjoyed reading your very thought provocative piece, dear friend. Wow that's a person so well hidden that hid even from he or herself. A 7 from me! Thanks again for your visit to my pages. Wishing you a lovely day! In his light! God bless you! :) D"

And so many people live like this, hiding. Well penned!
